Tripoli Houston Rocket Club Donations 

Tripoli Houston is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).

 

This means:

• Donors can deduct contributions made to Tripoli Houston under IRC Section 170.

• We are qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, transfers, or gifts under Sections 2055, 2106, or 2522.

• The effective date of our exemption is December 21, 2018.

If you itemize deductions, your contributions to Tripoli Houston may be deductible up to 50% of your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI). For those considering a donation, this provides a significant tax benefit.

Additionally, individuals performing charitable duties on behalf of our non-profit club—such as driving mileage (but not compensation for time)—may be able to deduct those expenses. Some exclusions may apply, such as serving as an officer of the club. We encourage you to consult your tax attorney or accountant for guidance on these deductions.
